It's a mad world when a machine can harbor a soul more passionate than any other human being....It is the year 2015, and the United States Military has implemented the Lazarus Project. It is a private agenda to treat soldiers for depression and bereavement, after loved ones are lost in war. During the program, Life Model Decoys are created in the image of the lost lover or family member to help ease the effects of mourning the veterans left behind encounter. Steve Rogers, former Captain of the Army, is discharged after watching his partner Bucky, die in his arms in Afghanistan. Wholeheartedly against the Lazarus Project, Steve refuses to sign up for the Index which would grant him his own LMD of Bucky. But 7 months after his death, Steve finds himself Imprinted on by an LMD created in Bucky's image against his previous wishes. What follows is the story of a man and his Decoy, the hilarity of an Android learning to live a human life, and the two facing the dangers of those who'd use Bucky for evil. What Steve never thought was that a machine could teach him to love again, and gain his salvation within the unthinkable miracle of Bucky's spirit.
